“I feel I got it all wrong because I HAVE NO ENGAGEMENT ON MY BLOG – not even when I share it on social”

So let’s break a few myths to help you feel better already – I said.

My client had been blogging under 3 months – she produced blogs regularly but lack of engagement fed her fear of visibility and soon she stopped blogging.

Here are 4 tips you need to stay consistent (because that’s how you build engagement)

#1. A CLEAR PLAN
When you have a clear plan based on your keyword research, you will have no doubt whether your blog posts will generate website traffic or not. It will also be much easier to write because you never need to think much about it because you have your plan and titles ready

#2. GET THE STATS ON YOUR CORE CONTENT
Sure there are at least 2 types of blog posts that get you more engagement – but when you’re starting out it will feel like you’re writing for crickets.

This is why it’s key that you set-up your statistical reporting on your website right away. That way you will know how many people actually read your post.

And in the long months of crickets before people start actually engaging (because that’s perfectly normal!) you will at least have proof that your blog is becoming increasingly popular

#3. EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT BLOG TYPES (FORMULAS)
There are many different ways of sharing the same knowledge – different blog formats appeal to different audiences. Once you find the format that your audience wants to engage with, you can use this layout and format as a template for most of your blog posts

You can also learn how to optimise your social media posts based on where you want your engagement to happen

#4. ENGAGE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Once you have your content on the website you can reformat it to engage people on social. This creates interest in your topics and also on your website and ultimately brings more eyeballs to your blog.
